HGTV star Christina Hall has put her expertly decorated Franklin, TN, home on the market for $4.5 million—just weeks after agreeing to let Josh Hall use it as his residence amid their ongoing divorce proceedings.
The 41-year-old real estate investor announced her plans to sell the home on Instagram, revealing that she was listing the six-bedroom property with her close friend Kelly Dougherty, at Parks Real Estate.
At the same time, Christina launched a furious tirade against her estranged spouse, accusing Josh, 46, of attempting to “steal” from her and her three children in a blistering series of posts shared on her Instagram Stories.
Having posted a link to the home listing, Christina made a dig at Josh, calling him out for recently changing his location on Instagram to Leiper’s Fork, where the property is located.
“I guess ‘Leipers Fork’ is gonna have to come off the bio soon. Time to go back to reality,” she began her post.
“Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog. I guess plans changed,” she wrote. “All about trying to take everything you can … With your mind on my money and my money on your mind …”
She then followed up with another statement in which she doubled down: “And yes this is ‘stealing’ from me and my family. Asking for an obscene amount of $$ from me for a short term marriage is factual.”
Christina then referenced their legal tussle in which she accused Josh of transferring $35,000 of her money into his account, funds that he insisted he was using to maintain the properties that he was managing.
“Stealing my rental income for two of my sole and separate homes is factual (booking a cleaner does not make you a property manager),” she went on. “I have one who gets a % for her actual work of being a property manager.”
Lastly, she accused Josh and his spokesperson of doing everything in their power to spin the narrative and make him “look innocent,” insisting that everything she has said about him is “100[%] accurate.”
“This is my page and as long as you’re being a gold digging little b**** I don’t have to stop doin anything,” she raged. “Everything I’ve said is 100[%] accurate and I haven’t even scratched the surface of your character.”
Finally, she left Josh with a warning: “PS my autobiography is in the works and is gonna be a real page turner.”
Josh has not yet publicly responded to his estranged wife’s vitriolic statement about him. However, “Leiper’s Fork, TN” remains on his Instagram bio—which has not been updated with a new feed post since Sept. 24.
It’s unclear whether Christina’s decision to sell her Tennessee property—which she purchased for $2.5 million in 2021, one year before she wed Josh—will affect the temporary settlement regarding the couple’s shared properties.
Per the agreement, Christina will take possession of their $12 million Newport Beach, CA, home, while Josh has full use of one of their homes in Tennessee, provided he does not rent it out to anyone else.
He also agreed to return what remains of the $35,000 that he transferred into his account, “less the amount I have paid in expenses” for their shared rental properties.
It is unclear whether the duo’s temporary property settlement will remain in place when the divorce is finalized. The setup is understood to have been implemented so the duo can focus on more urgent matters regarding their split.
Neither party has yet commented on what those matters are, but there will likely be no contest regarding custody because the duo never had children together. Christina does share two kids, daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 9, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, as well as son Hudson, 5, with ex Ant Anstead.
It is unclear whether Josh will be expected to immediately vacate the Leiper’s Fork home or wait until the home is sold.
While he’s there, he has the full run of a wide range of amenities, including a pool, a hot tub, a screened porch, and a wood-burning fireplace.
The 5,200-square-foot home on 23.82 acres is described as a “fabulous modern farmhouse” in the listing. It was featured on the HGTV star’s latest series, “Christina on the Coast,” giving it something of a celebrity status.
