Ben Affleck enjoys lunch with kids Samuel and Seraphina in LA, avoids awkward run-in with Jennifer Lopez at TIFF

The “Good Will Hunting” actor was spotted going for a stroll while wearing a casual ensemble of dark gray pants, a white T-shirt, and Nike sneakers. In addition, he made his usual grim grimace.

Samuel, his 12-year-old youngest, opted for an even more casual ensemble, dressing in gray and blue Yale T-shirt and blue plaid pajama bottoms.

They grabbed lunch Friday ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Affleck’s production company’s new film, “Unstoppable.”

Seraphina, the actor’s middle child, looked stylish in a blue crewneck sweater with the words “FARM CAMP” printed on it and beige cargo shorts. Mismatched socks, black sneakers, and a black crossbody bag completed Seraphina’s ensemble.

In August, Seraphina—who goes by Violet, 18, the older sister of Samuel—wore a same dress when she went for ice cream with Affleck and Samuel.

Page Six verified that Affleck, who co-produces “Unstoppable” alongside his longtime best buddy Matt Damon, will not be attending Friday’s TIFF premiere due to his ongoing divorce from Lopez.

The 55-year-old Lopez, who has a supporting role in the movie, looked stunning on the TIFF red carpet on Friday night. She was wearing a shimmering silver Tamara Ralph dress with a striking slit up both sides.

Her engagement was her first significant public appearance since she filed for divorce from the “Argo” actor on August 20.

She was upbeat throughout the premiere, even making light of the fact that she is a “bad picker” in conversation with her co-star Bobby Cannavale.

The “Dance Again” singer may have been making a self-deprecating joke, but her comment may also have been interpreted as a jab at Affleck, 52, given that she had been engaged six times and married four times.

On the second anniversary of their gorgeous Georgia wedding, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck.

Following their July 2022 elopement in Las Vegas, they threw the opulent party.

The “Marry Me” actor announced their breakup on April 26 and gave the excuse that they couldn’t agree on anything.

After the singer filed for bankruptcy, people close to her told Page Six that although she made every attempt to keep her and Affleck’s failing marriage together, it was all in vain since Affleck didn’t share her belief in the “big love” that she did.

An insider said, “Ben has a darkness to him that no other person can fix.” “All the success in the world couldn’t fix it, and neither could [his actress ex-wife] Jen Garner.”

An insider told Page Six after her filing that she tried to save their marriage, but Affleck was not interested.
Affleck was done with their marriage by May, according to one of our sources.
